Position OverviewCustomer‑Facing On‑Site Representative to represent our brand at OEM partners and perform quality engineering functions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of the assigned product or component.
- Devises sampling procedures, designs, and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Establish a program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
- Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
- Review all purchased products or components and provide input to the decision to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.
- Document data obtained during all quality activities consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
- Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provide recommended process improvements to management.
- Prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality activities.
- Prepare and present technical and program information to team members and management.
- Direct technical and administrative workers engaged in quality activities.
- Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.
- BA in Aerospace or related field with 5 years of experience in general aviation engine maintenance and support.
- Experience in regulated industry (FAA/FDA).
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
