Unarmed Security Guard

Overview

Chenega Naswik International, LLC has immediate openings for Unarmed Security Guards to provide support at Mobile Alabama.

• Perform unarmed guard services. Work in a professional, complimentary manner IAW SAM security protocols.
• Perform random patrol of building interior/exterior/external grounds (task away from post).
• Manage Access Control and Surveillance (entry/exit/inside/outside of building).
• Monitor personnel access (entry/exit), visitor control and screening.
• Monitor Security and Emergency Alarms.
• Monitor Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV) system.
• Advise and report breaches of security hardware to include broken locks, doors, non-working cameras, communications radios, etc. to SAM Security Office.
• Knowledge of physical security and anti-terrorism/force protection for DoD facilities.
• Emergency assessment/assistance.
• Maintain detailed, professional daily logs, incident reports & miscellaneous reporting.
• Inspection support as required. Monitor/report suspicious activity.
• Familiar with Force Protection Requirements.
• Conduct random screenings of individuals using handheld devices and walk-through metal detectors.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Possess a high school education or equivalent (such as GED Equivalency certificate).
• Two (2) years of experience in the position of performance.
• Successfully meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army.
• Successfully pass a medical examination using AR 190-56 standards.
• Possess the ability to fluently speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
• Possess the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports.
• Possess the ability to meet and deal with the public.
• Certified to carry oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray.
• Possess a current Alabama Security Guard License with the State of Alabama.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
• Knowledge of physical security and anti-terrorism/force protection for DoD.
