Overview
AFOGNAK DIVERSIFIED SERVICES INC is seeking a Full-time Shift Supervisor to support the Airbus project located in Mobile, AL.
The role includes a variety of security-related duties. Shift Supervisors must be familiar with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders. They will supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries and provide direct guidance and oversight of the Protective Security Officers across the security spectrum.
Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day activities of all Protective Security Officers on the assigned shift.
- Ensure all training and required licensing for the position is completed.
- Appraise, reward, and discipline employees.
- Review paperwork generated during the shift for accuracy and completeness and correct any discrepancies.
- Monitor and approve payroll for all employees assigned to them.
- Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance on their shift.
- Pay rate: $20.00 to $21.00 hourly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.
- Must speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and the ability to learn new computer programs.
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical exam.
- Ability to write legibly with proper grammar and spelling.
- Ability to learn the contracted site locations and their geographical layouts.
- Possess all required state Security Officer Licenses.
- Ability to operate base radio and computer terminal equipment and perform routine clerical work.
- Ability to follow moderately complex oral instructions and remain calm under heavy workload and emergency situations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with the client, public safety personnel, and the public.
- Ability to monitor CCTV systems.
