Summary:

The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration, such as grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.

Details

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
• Communicates status updates for parts and repairs with branch support and customers.
• Completes service calls accurately and timely.
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are available.
• Ensures service vehicle, tools, and uniforms meet Whaley safety standards.
• Meets on-call requirements.

Required Education | Experience

• Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair or refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that meet safety standards.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
• Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification are a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.
