Electrical Inspector ; Saraland

Overview

This is skilled inspectional work in enforcing the National Electrical Code and local regulations governing the installation and operation of electrical systems and equipment.

Jurisdiction Salary:
City of Saraland $48,092 - $76,883 yearly.

• Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, supplemented by two years of trade school or college coursework in the electrical field and a minimum of three years journeyman level experience in the electrical field; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Possession of a current master or journeyman electrician certificate issued by the State of Alabama or the City of Mobile (except in the Town of Creola, which does not require Electrical Certification).
