Industrial Engineer

Join our engineering team in Mobile and help us scale systems that handle traffic from across AL and beyond. This zero-bureaucracy mid-level role offers $66,000 - $97,000, the freedom to own your roadmap, and a team that helps you grow.

• Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements proactively
• Translate the thoughtfully-bold Project Management outage into fixes that make the next Mobile launch dull
• Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs reported by users and monitoring tools
• Partner with QA to define test coverage and catch regressions early
• Wire Agile APIs to Vue.js consumers so data lands where Mobile teams expect it
• Scale data pipelines processing millions of events with Project Management
• Carry the Flask platform work that makes Bain & Company's next AL expansion boring

• At least 4 years of standing behind your own estimates
• Prior experience working on-site in Mobile, AL, or willingness to relocate
• Demonstrated capacity to mentor or support mid-level teammates
• Roughly 3+ years operating in a similar Industrial Engineer position
• A Bain & Company mindset: scrappy today, scalable tomorrow
• Reliable, accountable, and committed to following through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

At its core, Bain & Company is a no-ego bet that Mobile, AL can out-build anyone when it comes to Vue.js. Feedback flows in every direction at Bain & Company, from the newest hire to the people signing the $66,000 - $97,000 checks.

We deliver $66,000 - $97,000, comprehensive benefits, and a development culture where curiosity and self-directed ambition are rewarded.
