EXPERIENCED TRANSPORTATION DISPATCHER

Since 1958, Quick Delivery Service, now a 3rd generation business, has been providing Local pickup and delivery and logistics services to the entire Gulf Coast. Our locations are strategically positioned in the key markets of the South Eastern Regions.

Mobile trucking company looking for a Dispatcher or Fleet Manager in our P & D Dept.

Truck transportation dispatch experience is a must.

Knowledge of order entry, invoicing, HOS and E-log / ELD preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and supervise company drivers, O / OP's and Hot Shot Drivers
  • Quote and Rate
  • Call in POD's to our customers
  • Prepare, enter, and post billing
  • Manage incoming phone calls
  • Tec intellect is a must ( Microsoft 365 )
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods / tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

Experience
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Must have tech intellect
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt / respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • 2-year degree preferred or High school diploma with valid experience
