Overview

The Civil Commercial Truck Driver role at White‑Spunner Construction requires you to operate a dump truck and trailer to transport equipment and materials to job sites in Mobile, AL. Salary ranges from $60,000.00 to $.

• Operate a dump truck to transport equipment and materials to job sites.
• Operate the truck efficiently to maintain production goals.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance checks of the truck, including reporting usage and utilization hours daily or as directed by a supervisor.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform any other general duties as directed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL and driver’s license, maintaining all required DOT regulations.
• Capable of working with minimal oversight while following directions closely.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds reliably.
• Must have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Must be reliable with a flexible work schedule.

Normal on‑site construction field work. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, loud noise, dust, asphalt, heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions.

Requires use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. Must be able to frequently lift 30 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
