OTR CDL-A Truck Driver

• This is an OTR position only
  - No local or regional runs available
• Minimum 8 months of OTR experience in the last 24 months
• No terminations in the past 12 months

• Route type: OTR only
• Home time: Run for 21 days, then home for 7 days
• Freight: 100% no-touch freight, full dry van truckload
• Job type: Solo, Company
• Pay: Earn $85,000 - $95,000 per year
• CPM: Earn 65 - 74 - based on experience & endorsements
• 1st check transition bonus: earn up to $3,775 (transition bonus + orientation pay + PTO on your first payday*)

For this position,
you must park the truck at one of our terminals, and Barr-Nunn will pay to fly you home and back
, or if preferred, reimburse you for your fuel home and back from our Columbus terminal, for drivers living east of I-35

• Well-equipped, late-model assigned Freightliner Cascadia tractors with newer 53' Wabash trailers that include tracking & cargo sensors, equipped with TV, microwave, fridge, inverter, free Sirius XM radio, bedding, sheets, pillow, & CB radio

• Valid CDL-A
• Minimum 8 months of OTR experience in the last 24 months - including snow & ice driving in major cities experience
• No terminations in the past 12 months
• No DWIs in the past 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screens, & human performance evaluation
• No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years

• Certified top-pay carrier
• Higher band pay per mile on complete loads less than 400 miles
• 0 - 100 miles earn $35 per load
• 101 - 400 miles earn $25 per load
• Safety-based pay raises - every 15,000 - 30,000 safe paid miles, to a high pay cap
• $925 or $750 CSA safety bonus + 1 day of PTO every 90 days
• $650 On-road safety bonus - eligible every 90 days
• Premium pay per mile when hauling placarded HAZMAT***
• Orientation pay
• Free rider program
• Detention pay begins after only 1 hour
• Accelerated PTO - earned every 60,000 paid miles, 3-9 days based on accumulation of miles during employment
