Surgical Technician or LPN

Mobridge Regional Hospital is looking for Certified Surgical Technicians or LPNs to join our surgery team.

• Prepares for the surgical procedures.
• Directly assists the surgeon and surgical team with procedures.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintains basic sterile technique of the Operating Room (OR).
• Actively participates in safety measures, organizes and maintains the sterile field, and stays aware of the location of all supplies needed for the procedures.
• Ensures all sterile supplies are ready and available for the procedures.
• Has knowledge of proper cleaning of the OR.
• Assists with processing surgical equipment, cleaning, packaging, sterilization of trays, and equipment involved in surgical procedures in both the OR and the clinics.
• Acts as a resource to the patient care areas for cleaning and placement of all sterilized trays.

• High school graduate with completion of a surgical tech program and the ability to obtain certification as a Surgical Tech.
• Experience as a Surgical Tech preferred; new graduates are accepted.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification to be obtained within two months of hire.
• LPN licensure considered with proper training and skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with staff, providers, patients, families, and visitors.

Work Schedule:

6:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday, with rotating night, weekend, and holiday call.

Salary Range depends on education, certifications, and experience. The hospital offers shift differentials and call‑back pay.
