Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery / Pre‑Op

We are seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented, and adaptable RN to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent time management skills who is committed to providing high‑quality care to patients and their families.

• Support surgical procedures by working outside the sterile field
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and OR staff
• Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready
• Monitor the surgical team and maintain a safe environment for the patient
• Maintain the sterile field and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Document procedures accurately and advocate for patient safety
• Communicate with other departments as needed

• Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing documentation, H&P, and physician orders
• Start IVs and administer pre‑operative medications
• Assist with post‑operative patient care as needed

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license in South Dakota
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8‑hour shifts)
• Rotating on‑call duties for nights, weekends, and holidays
