As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to the high standards expected from Mercedes‑Benz. This includes everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs while delivering the utmost in safety, efficiency, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Explain repairs and issues to the service team in a clear, professional manner.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend preventive maintenance.
- Execute services such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and brake services.
- Stay current with training and certifications (including Mercedes‑Benz systems).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a professional appearance.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of automotive experience or completion of auto tech training.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- ASE certifications preferred;
Mercedes‑Benz certification a plus. - Strong communication skills and a customer‑first attitude.
- Experience with automotive software systems (Reynolds & Reynolds, Google Workspace) is beneficial.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and use hands frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, and loud noises.
- Work includes both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.
