We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Customer Service Representative in Modesto, CA. In this showroom role, you will greet guests, support sales order processing, manage payment and financing transactions, and assist with store administrative functions.

• Welcome showroom guests in a professional, courteous manner reflecting Ashley's brand reputation.
• Provide exceptional customer support across in-person visits, telephone calls, and email inquiries.
• Resolve customer questions and issues promptly, partnering with store management on escalations.
• Collaborate with sales consultants and warehouse teams to deliver smooth, high-quality customer service.

• Process customer sales orders accurately, verifying required paperwork and payment approvals.
• Assist guests with consumer credit applications, financing options, and account maintenance in retail systems.
• Follow established cash handling policies, process payments, and balance drawers accurately.
• Prepare routine sales reports, maintain filing systems, and assist with store inventory compliance audits.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of customer service or retail office experience preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; minimum 18 years of age.
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and retail management/POS systems.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Availability to work flexible retail hours including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts.

• Hourly compensation of $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
