Part Time Faculty office Hours are paid at a flat rate of $30 per hour.

Under the general supervision of the Division Dean for the discipline, the successful applicant will provide lecture and/or laboratory instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules; evaluate progress of students; advise students concerning educational matters, and perform other related duties as assigned. The successful candidate will join an History/Political Science department that continues to create curriculum responsive to student needs, increasing student completion through the implementation of strategies geared to increase student equity.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Master’s in History/Political Science OR Bachelor’s in History/Political Science AND Master’s in political science, humanities, geography, area studies, women’s studies, social science or ethnic studies OR the equivalent And/or Master’s in political science, government, or international relations OR Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in economics, history, public administration, social science, sociology, and any ethnic studies, Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.) OR the equivalent.
