Cosmetology Educator

Paul Mitchell the School Modesto is seeking a qualified Cosmetology Learning Leader (Educator) to join our team. With over one hundred schools nationwide, Paul Mitchell Schools are growing rapidly. This position is located in Little Rock, AR.

Classroom and clinic Learning Leaders plan and facilitate classes from an accredited and approved curriculum specific to Paul Mitchell Schools. The objective is to meet graduation requirements for hands-on and theoretical knowledge in a fun and engaging classroom and clinic environment. Our school plans classes that cater to multiple intelligences and learning styles.

The ideal candidate will have successful previous teaching experience and strong leadership skills, as well as experience with Paul Mitchell products. He or she must be self-motivated to meet goals, and able to inspire, inspect, and coach team members in all clinic floor systems including up-selling, rebooking, and guest service systems. This position requires experience in positive and effective communication, customer service resolution and teamwork.

Must be able to think on their feet and problem solve in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

• Experience instructing at a cosmetology school or adequate experience in the industry
• Current Oklahoma state cosmetology license
• Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
• Skills in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment
• Solid work history with verifiable references
• Passion for the beauty industry
• Honesty and professionalism
• Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred
