We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our Modesto or Fresno office. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with a passion for excellence and a proven track record in water and wastewater engineering.
This position may be remote with periodic travel required.
Qualifications- A minimum of 10 years’ experience and interest in water and wastewater engineering.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Currently licensed as a Professional Engineer with a requirement of obtaining a California Professional Engineer within one year.
- Outstanding technical, managerial, and communication skills.
- Lead and manage engineering projects and project managers from planning through implementation, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to engineering staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.
- Assign and manage workload for multiple projects and project managers.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, subconsultants, stakeholders, equipment vendors, and engineers to ensure project success.
- Business development and direct interaction with clients and potential clients.
- Knowledge of the standard principles and practices of professional engineering with the following:
- Strong technical writing and project management skills.
- Expertise in hydraulic calculations and understanding of chemical and biological processes related to water and wastewater treatment.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including CEQA.
- Proficiency with water and wastewater modeling software and Microsoft Office.
Compensation for the position is commensurate with education, experience, attitude, skills, and references. Range is $185,000-$225,000 per year.
