You will be joining our team as a producing fiduciary financial advisor. In this role you will work to establish new clients, deepen existing relationships, and help support other team members as the need arises. Our planning is goal‑oriented and tailored to reflect the unique circumstances and dreams our clients have. Although it is a ‘sales’ role, we expect members of our team to have a hospitality mindset, to do what’s best for the client, and to deliver exceptional experiences for years to come.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Offer bespoke financial planning and retirement guidance
- Document all client interactions in our CRM (Wealthbox) and keep clear notes that are easy for all team members to understand
- Do preparatory work for client/prospect meetings and post‑meeting follow‑ups
- Analyze financial situations and make recommendations for improvement
- Respond to and ensure incoming calls, e‑mails, communications, faxes and inquiries are replied to in a quick, efficient manner
- Maintain a high standard of compliance in all aspects of the business
- Effectively manage the clients you are responsible for
- Be self‑motivated
- Assist in business development and marketing activities
- Professional designations are preferred (e.g. ChFC, CFP, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience in the financial field
- Knowledge of a variety of investment and insurance products (e.g. stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, annuities, etc.)
- Excellent oral, written and personal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain good relationships with the clients and colleagues – be personable and build rapport with others
- Knowledgeable in Asset Allocation and Portfolio Risk Management
- Experienced using and preparing financial plans using planning software (we use Right Captial)
- High ethical standards
- Attention to detail; this role requires a high accuracy in filling out forms which, at times, can be complex
- Must be team oriented and able to collaborate with specialists to deliver holistic planning – including investment, retirement, financial, tax, and estate planning
- Series 7, 63 & 65 or 66
- Annuity and Life License
- Be reliable, punctual, and professional (not licensing, but required)
This is intended as a full‑time position, but there is some autonomy to your own schedule. Hybrid work can be done off‑site (secured due to the sensitive nature of the personal information we work with) or in‑office. There will be required in‑office meetings. Primarily the work week consists of Monday through Friday but the occasional night or weekend will be required.
COMPENSATIONCompensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors, two of the main considerations will be: if you’re bringing an existing book of business, and years of experience.
