The Outbound Scheduling Coordinator will establish contact with patients to schedule for approved treatments or procedures, ensuring all necessary accommodations are approved and provided. The coordinator will coordinate with the Authorizations team for internal scheduling approval and navigate the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to update and input data.

$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• Communicate with patients for scheduling and scheduling needs
• Coordinate to gain approval for transportation, interpreter, and lodging accommodations
• Navigate and maintain scheduler within the EMR
• Enter data and information in the desired database locations
• Communicate with IPM staff to ensure patients are being treated
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patients’ personal information
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and peers
• Become familiar with the California Worker's Comp Labor Code
• Complete required tasks within the desired deadline
• Preferred bilingual in Spanish
• Ability to multitask

• Experience with coordinating between different departments
• Assume other responsibilities as appropriate to the position and organizational needs

• Customer Service: manages difficult or emotional patient situations
• High school Diploma or GED
• Previous experience with EMR/HER systems desirable
• Problem Solving: identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, develop alternative solutions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
