Frontend Developer

Our Frontend Developer role in Modesto, CA is a chance to build Written Communication infrastructure from a clean slate, which at Retail Solutions Group happens rarely and matters enormously. Honestly, the draw is the ownership: $64,000 - $94,000 and freelance hours come standard, but the technology reins are the real prize.

• Tune Written Communication caching so Retail Solutions Group survives the Modesto launch spike on the same hardware
• Tune Google Cloud queries until the CA database stops timing out under load
• Lead technical design reviews for junior technology initiatives
• Translate a napkin idea from Retail Solutions Group founders into a Laravel joyfully-rigorous prototype
• Carry the Google Cloud platform work that makes Retail Solutions Group's next CA expansion boring
• Spot the thoughtfully-bold C# anti-pattern in review before it spreads through Retail Solutions Group
• Resurrect flaky C# tests until the Modesto, CA suite is trustworthy again

• Willingness to relocate to Modesto, CA, or to make remote work
• Fluency across Cypress and C#, with strong opinions on both
• A steady hand when three priorities all claim to be number one
• Junior fluency in Nginx, with Written Communication on your roadmap
• Hands-on experience with modern Nginx workflows and tooling

At Retail Solutions Group the paycheck opens at $64,000 - $94,000 and the perks, from learning stipends to flexible Modesto, CA hours, only widen from there.
