Nurse Manager

The Nurse Manager oversees 24-hour departments providing patient care services, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective care. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders who are committed to maintaining clinical standards and improving patient care outcomes.

• Pay: $96,900 - $125,400/year
• Location: Modesto, CA
• Facility: Modesto Medical Center
• Schedule: Part-time, Day shift

• Manage the operations of 24-hour departments at multiple locations.
• Ensure staff compliance with the Nursing Practice Act and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain patient care and service standards.
• Design and evaluate processes to improve patient care results.
• Develop and monitor budgets for resource utilization.
• Determine appropriate staff mix and manage hiring and training processes.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Oversee standards of care and quality improvement activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing required.

• Minimum four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Four (4) years of management, supervisory, or leadership experience.

• Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• ACLS or PALS certification may be required for specific departments.
