Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Automotive Floorplan Portfolio Manager to build and manage a portfolio of automotive dealerships. Responsibilities include signing dealerships, driving sales, ensuring excellent servicing of accounts, and effectively managing associated risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive industry and a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain dealer clients within the automotive sector; build and maintain relationships with dealership owners and decision-makers; identify opportunities for portfolio growth by presenting financing solutions; conduct market research to remain competitive. - Servicing:
Oversee servicing of the automobile floorplan portfolio, ensure high customer satisfaction; monitor account performance; collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes; provide training and support to dealerships on financing solutions. - Risk Management:
Monitor dealership conditions and performance; develop risk assessment models to evaluate creditworthiness; ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; monitor portfolio performance including loan balances and payment trends.
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
- Knowledge of the automotive industry across sectors
- Strong financial acumen and familiarity with key financial tools and terminology
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to interact with clients and collaborate with internal and external partners
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation and collection skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- BA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account management and/or collections
- Travel:
Greater than 75% with some overnight travel required - Ability to travel, fly, drive
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver s license required; driving is an essential function
- Self-determined, performance-based compensation package
- Base pay of $50,000 per year
