Join Boehringer Ingelheim as System Account Executive responsible for pull-through of the account plan across health system sites and affiliates, delivering brand value propositions, and driving sales growth.

Duties & Responsibilities- Generate advocacy with key experts in high control priority health systems.
- Utilize clinical and product knowledge, consultative selling skills to support use of BIPI products.
- Increase recognition, diagnosis, and treatment rates within BIPI‑marketed disease states.
- Establish and maintain communication, collaboration, and coordination with co‑promotion partners and BIPI employees.
- Pull‑through the Account Plan, understanding and implementing Health System marketing strategies.
- Deliver value to customers using insight, business analysis, problem solving, and flexibility.
- Provide disease‑state and other approved presentations to Health System staff and qualified medical personnel.
- Maintain accurate and timely follow‑up with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Use approved account management techniques to facilitate decision making and engagement.
- Support Health Systems' Triple Aim efforts, including protocol and pathway pull‑through, population health initiatives.
- Engage stakeholders on payer environment, copays, and formulary access.
- Support products on payor formularies and work with extended team to execute MCO decisions.
- Analyze territory information to optimize interactions.
- Identify and report business opportunities and barriers.
- Use CRM and account plan analysis to guide interactions and monitor Value Proposition use.
- Successfully complete all Sales Training requirements.
- Assist in identifying thought leaders, innovators, and advocates within the priority Health System.
- Manage programs, initiatives, and budgets within standards.
- Build networks among advocates and key stakeholders.
- Perform all company business in accordance with regulations such as EEO, FDA, DEA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA, PhRMA, etc.
- Report violations immediately to management.
- Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards to uphold BIPI’s reputation.
- This is a dual‑level posting; candidates will be hired at the level commensurate with experience.
System Account Executive:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s preferred. - Minimum 4 years successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years account management experience preferred.
- Successful sales performance history.
- Ability to travel up to 75% depending on geography.
- Knowledge across portfolio preferred.
- Strong understanding of managed care and its impact.
- Excellent judgment and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to foster ongoing interactions and partnerships with stakeholders.
- Acceptable performance in current role.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
- Travel may include overnight travel.
- Should reside in territory or be willing to relocate.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Strong understanding of managed care environment and health system intricacies.
- Previous account management experience.
- Knowledge of regulations such as EEO, FDA, DEA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA, PhRMA, etc.
Senior Systems Account Executive:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s preferred. - Minimum 7 years successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant accounts within the territory preferred.
- Successful sales performance history.
- Ability to travel up to 75% depending on geography.
- Knowledge across portfolio preferred.
- Strong understanding of managed care and its impact.
- Excellent judgment and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to foster ongoing interactions and partnerships with stakeholders.
- Acceptable performance in current role.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
- Travel may include overnight travel.
