Field Service Technician

About the Role

Canon USA, a leader in technology, solutions, and services, is actively seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver amazing experiences and elevated efficiency within the routine maintenance of Canon‑supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards.

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with accurate documentation and record‑keeping.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines.
• Facilitate performance to help achieve the branch/district’s overall metric targets.

Note:

This is a customer‑facing role and requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID‑19 vaccination and other measures.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and successfully complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required).
• Required to obtain any security or other clearances needed by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

In accordance with applicable law, the anticipated rate for this role is $19.00 – $26.31 hourly. This role is eligible for a transportation allowance.
