Plant Reliability Mechanic (Production & Facilities)
Picture your day: a production line is humming, a pump starts to chatter, and before downtime threatens, you’re already on it. You verify the maintenance log, consult the manual, run a quick diagnostic, and restore smooth, safe operation—then update the PM schedule so the issue doesn’t return. That’s the rhythm of this role: anticipate, prevent, repair, and keep our facility and equipment performing at their best.

What You’ll DoBuild, install, service, and repair a range of mechanical systems, plant machinery, and facility equipment.

Diagnose issues methodically and complete routine preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.

Inspect and test equipment on a regular cadence to verify performance and safety.

Create and maintain inspection, service, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Read and apply equipment manuals, technical documentation, and operating procedures to plan work.

Clean, repair, replace, and fit components and parts as needed to restore function.

Operate hand and power tools and maintenance equipment correctly and safely.

Spot early signs of wear or malfunction and address them before they escalate.

Keep the maintenance shop clean, orderly, and compliant with safety expectations.

Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies and practices.

Handle general building and facility upkeep when assigned.

Pitch in on broader maintenance projects and team priorities.

About You High school diploma or GED required.

At least 2 years in a maintenance mechanic, industrial mechanic, or closely related maintenance role.

Trade school or vocational training preferred.

Proven mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting capabilities.

Comfortable and proficient with hand tools and power tools.

Capable of reading and interpreting manuals and technical instructions.

Strong computer literacy; able to use maintenance software and related systems.

Physically able to carry out hands-on mechanical work safely.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.

Experience servicing or repairing forklifts is a plus.
