Truck Driver – CombinedEmployee’s level and pay will be dependent on their level of experience, knowledge, and capabilities. The Truck Driver – Combined is responsible for delivering products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required). They must ensure that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently and that materials are correct and free of damage.
Responsibilities- Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects; complete a daily inspection report.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep; report required maintenance to supervisor.
- Follow Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). local, and state driving laws and regulations.
- Load or unload vehicle, ensuring quantity and type of material are correct and undamaged before departure.
- Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery receipt signed by the customer, packing list, and branch/warehouse manifest.
- Inspect material returns from customers, verifying condition, quantity, and catalog numbers.
- Pick up material from company suppliers.
- Senior Truck Driver mentors entry-level Truck Drivers, providing training and coaching.
- Support other warehouse duties such as order preparation, stocking, staging, and shipping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend company driver training (in lieu of experience).
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a pre‑employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
- Obtain a non‑expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
- Have no suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
- Have no at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- Handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW.
- Handle basic issues and problems.
- Possess strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Exhibit excellent organizational and time‑management skills to meet deadlines.

For the state of Massachusetts only, the pay range is $20.00 to $23.50, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
