- Manage projects through all stages — from analyzing clients’ needs to developing specifications, conceptualization, design, testing, and final installation.
- Responsible for managing and executing medium-scale subsystem design projects based on verbal or written directives from the Engineering Manager.
- Use design expertise and project management skills to develop and oversee the project budget and schedule.
- Travel as needed to assess projects, implement and troubleshoot engineering modifications, and provide support to other departments.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
- Three to seven years of related machine design experience (e.g. slicers, conveyors, packaging, automation equipment, etc.)
- Proficient in design using Autodesk Inventor and Vault or other 3D modeling software and PDMs.
- Solid working knowledge with manufacturing practices, assembly procedures, and machine and mechanical mechanism design.
- Hygienic design principles.
- Design of stainless steel machined and sheet metal components.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. $90,000 - $110,000 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.
