- Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
- Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable before, during, and after their appointment about their treatment and oral health.
- Take and process dental radiographs, digital scans, and intraoral photos.
- Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment.
- Provide chair‑side assistance to providers during treatment procedures.
- Document orthodontic care services by charting in patients’ records.
- Assist the orthodontist in assessing a patient’s teeth and implementing a plan to straighten them.
- Perform routine orthodontic duties, including cleaning and adjusting orthodontic appliances.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient‑centric working environment.
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
- Required:
X‑ray Certification, EFODA (or willing to get it within 6 months of hire). - Prior dental or orthodontic assisting experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

- Eager to learn; ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
