Site-Based Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Civils & Piling Superintendent to join a major onshore construction project in Padeswood
. This role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee key civil and structural works within a complex industrial environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil and piling activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising civil and structural subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards
  • Monitoring progress and reporting subcontractor performance
  • Coordinating activities across multiple disciplines
  • Reviewing method statements, risk assessments and technical documentation
  • Carrying out site inspections and safety audits
  • Supporting project planning, cost tracking and delivery milestones
  • Ensuring inspection, monitoring and quality hold points are met
Requirements Essential:
  • Proven experience in civil and piling works within process plant or petrochemical environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of piling, structural steelwork, rebar, formwork, drainage and road construction
  • Valid CSCS card (Gold preferred)
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or CITB
  • Solid understanding of site safety, audits and method statements
Desirable:
  • Temporary Works certification
  • SAF
    18 qualification
