Overview

Castell Alun High School is a well established and successful English medium co-educational school catering for approximately 2000 students.

We are currently seeking to recruit exam invigilators to join our existing team to assist in the running of our summer 2026 external examinations. There will also further invigilation opportunities from September 2026. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are available most days over the summer exam period of May and June and between the hours of 8.30am and 4.00pm.

Responsibilities
  • Invigilators need to be reliable, punctual, highly flexible and confident in addressing large groups of students.
  • You should possess the necessary skills to relate to students and ensure a calm environment for examinations to take place, during a most important and stressful time.
  • Key responsibilities will be to supervise students throughout their exam, ensuring all exam regulations are upheld and assisting with issuing and collection of exam materials, as directed by Senior Invigilators.
  • Persons appointed will be required to undertake Invigilator training and safeguarding training, provided by the school.
