Your new company, a well-established and growing environmental and planning consultancy, is looking to appoint an EIA Consultant to join their North Wales team.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and contribute to EIA projects and Environmental Statements.
  • Support or lead EIA screening and scoping processes.
  • Liaise with technical specialists and manage inputs across disciplines.
  • Prepare technical reports and non‑technical summaries.
  • Engage with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Support project delivery to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Contribute to tenders and business development activities (Senior level).
Qualifications

Consultant level:

  • Relevant degree in environmental science, planning, geography or similar.
  • Experience supporting EIA projects within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong written and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of the UK planning system and EIA regulations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Senior level:

  • Demonstrable experience leading or coordinating EIA projects.
  • Strong client‑facing and project management skills.
  • In‑depth knowledge of UK EIA and planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff.
  • Working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (e.g. IEMA, RTPI).
