Responsibilities- Coordinate and contribute to EIA projects and Environmental Statements.
- Support or lead EIA screening and scoping processes.
- Liaise with technical specialists and manage inputs across disciplines.
- Prepare technical reports and non‑technical summaries.
- Engage with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Support project delivery to agreed timelines and budgets.
- Contribute to tenders and business development activities (Senior level).
Consultant level:
- Relevant degree in environmental science, planning, geography or similar.
- Experience supporting EIA projects within a consultancy environment.
- Strong written and analytical skills.
- Understanding of the UK planning system and EIA regulations.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Senior level:
- Demonstrable experience leading or coordinating EIA projects.
- Strong client‑facing and project management skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of UK EIA and planning processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff.
- Working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (e.g. IEMA, RTPI).
