Marine View Lodge Care Home, New Brighton, Merseyside.

Contract:

Full Time and Part-Time. Salary: £12.21 per hour. Shift Type:
Days. Contracted hours: 24 to 48.

Marine View Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose-built 80-bed home delivering high-quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a warm, supportive, person-centred environment. You’ll be a key person in helping us achieve an excellent standard of care for residents and an integral part of our care team to promote the values and ethos of our home.

• Empower Independence:
  Assist residents with daily routines, from getting dressed to staying active, while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible.
• Personalized Care:
  Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan with hands-on help and thoughtful attention to individual needs.
• Health and Wellbeing:
  Monitor residents’ health, communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
• Champion Dignity:
  Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident in every interaction.
• Social Support:
  Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
• Safety and Comfort:
  Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces; respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
• Nutritional Support:
  Assist residents who need help with eating and drinking, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Spread Smiles:
  Bring joy to residents’ lives and help them smile every day.

• Qualifications:
  
  SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Ideally at least 6 months as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with passion for care and transferable skills.
• Passion:
  Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and delivering excellent service.
