We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in North Wales. Due to continued expansion of their high-volume production facility, they now require an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a skilled engineering team.

This is a genuinely hands-on role where your electrical expertise will directly impact production uptime and plant efficiency.

THE ROLE
 
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to keep equipment running at optimum performance and minimise unplanned downtime
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls across a wide range of production and packaging machinery
Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults quickly and implement effective repairs
Support continuous improvement projects and the installation/commissioning of new equipment  YOU
You will be a time-served or qualified electrical technician who enjoys solving real technical problems in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
 
Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician in a process, production or FMCG manufacturing setting
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification
Minimum HNC / HND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, drives, PLC awareness advantageous
Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems  Working Hours & Benefits
 
Monday – Friday (day shift)
Paid overtime regularly available
Occasional weekend work when required (paid at enhanced rates)
