• Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive communications plans that keep communities informed and engaged
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting clear updates, notifications, and media content
• Experience managing community engagement activities such as events, info sessions, and site visits
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with local leaders, businesses, and community groups
• Proficiency in using digital platforms to maintain project websites, social media, and notification services (e.g., SMS/Whats App)
• Capability to respond swiftly and professionally during crisis situations, supporting urgent communication needs

• Background in media relations and PR event support
• Familiarity with monitoring and managing social media conversations related to community projects
• Experience in developing newsletters or project publications

• Strong Communications skills and experience with community engagement an important second requirement.
• 5 Years experience in either Communications or Community Engagement

• Flexibility to attend community events outside of regular hours as needed
• 4 days on site with 1 day WFH.
