An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a well-established organisation on a 3-month fixed term contract basis.

This role has arisen to provide temporary support during a period of absence, ensuring the continued management and compliance of all health and safety requirements across the site.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving health and safety standards, supporting the wider business, and ensuring all statutory and company requirements continue to be met throughout the contract period.

The Role:

Provide temporary support across the Health & Safety function for an initial 3-month period, managing day-to-day H&S responsibilities across the site.
Ensure continued compliance with UK legislation, company policies and industry standards through audits, inspections, risk assessments and investigations.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees, helping to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.
Maintain accurate H&S documentation and support the ongoing improvement of health and safety processes.

The Candidate:

Experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background in a similar site-based role.
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) preferred with a strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels and able to provide practical advice and guidance.
Able to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively and make an immediate impact within a short-term contract.
