An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a well-established organisation on a 3-month fixed term contract basis.

This role has arisen to provide temporary support during a period of absence, ensuring the continued management and compliance of all health and safety requirements across the site.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving health and safety standards, supporting the wider business, and ensuring all statutory and company requirements continue to be met throughout the contract period.

• Provide temporary support across the Health & Safety function for an initial 3-month period, managing day-to-day H&S responsibilities across the site.
• Ensure continued compliance with UK legislation, company policies and industry standards through audits, inspections, risk assessments and investigations.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees, helping to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.
• Maintain accurate H&S documentation and support the ongoing improvement of health and safety processes.

• Experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background in a similar site-based role.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) preferred with a strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels and able to provide practical advice and guidance.
• Able to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively and make an immediate impact within a short-term contract.
