Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of an established client based near Mold, North Wales.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager
, you'll oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise forklift operatives, and take responsibility for the department in the manager's absence.

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and despatch paperwork
• Ensure timely issue of raw materials and packaging to production
• Maintain accurate stock records through regular physical inventory checks
• Control inbound and outbound goods, ensuring correct documentation
• Monitor stock rotation, integrity, and storage conditions
• Investigate stock discrepancies and implement improvements
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and safety
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks

• Manage inventory across onsite and external warehouses
• Minimise stock loss and improve customer fulfilment
• Analyse stock data, identify trends, and resolve root causes
• Identify obsolete, damaged, or aged stock
• Handle disciplinary matters up to final written warning

• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Confident supervising a warehouse team
• Proactive, reliable, and safety focused
• Committed to making a positive contribution to the workplace

Hours: Monday
- Thursday (9.5 hours per day), Friday (7 hours)
