Adjunct Faculty – Nursing Assistant Program Instructor

Black Hawk College seeks adjunct/part‑time instructors for the Nursing Assistant Program. Classes are held at the QC Campus in Moline, the East Campus in Galva, and at local area clinical sites.

Review of applications will begin immediately.

• Encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi.
• Develop lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students’ educational experience.
• Design and execute appropriate methods of evaluating student performance.
• Secure and maintain equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing PLUS completion of the "Train‑the‑trainer" course.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Oral English proficiency required.

Pay is commensurate with education and experience. Minimum starting pay for adjunct faculty (as of Fall 2024):

• Less than a Master’s Degree: $693.36 per equated hour
• Master’s Degree: $808.92 per equated hour
• Doctorate: $866.70 per equated hour
