To provide appropriate classroom, lab, clinical, or other instruction as assigned for the Business, Computer, and Engineering Technology department.
Faculty member is expected to encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi, developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students educational experience, executing appropriate methods of evaluating student performance, and developing, securing, and maintaining the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material.
QualificationsTECHNICAL/APPLIED MATH - Master's degree in mathematics, EE, EET, MT, or a related technical discipline; or Baccalaureate degree in mathematics, EE, EET, MT, or a related technical discipline with a minimum of two years related industrial experience; or Associate's degree in mathematics, EE, EET, MT, or a related technical discipline with a minimum of four years related industrial experience in applied math;
or no degree with a minimum of eight years of related industrial experience, a considerable portion of which includes applied math through calculus.
The applied mathematics should relate to shop fabrication, geometry of layout, blueprint, algebraic solution techniques, trigonometry, and calculus of simple systems in mechanical and/or electrical technologies. Must possess demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction.
PayEquated Hour Rates:
- Less than Master's: $717.63
- Master's: $837.23
- Doctorate: $897.03
