Job Overview

Program Assistant role at Active Day. Full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem positions available with daily pay.

Become an active, caring, and dedicated team member helping members with activities, personal and medical care, meals, and on‑ and off‑site social activities. Full training provided. Passion and dedication are required rather than experience.

• Assist members with activities, personal care, and some medical care.
• Plan and facilitate fun, creative, and diverse recreational programs and encourage member participation.
• Serve meals and assist with meal service.
• Ensure members enjoy a loving and caring environment that brings joy and smiles.

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred or at least two years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• One‑year full‑time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred.
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift, transfer, and pivot at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk up to 8 hours a day.
