Clinic Receptionist - Health Plex - Full Time - Day Shifts

Join the Mercy One Family! We are looking to hire an Office Receptionist. As an Office Receptionist at Mercy One, you will be responsible for coordinating all patient activities including greeting patients and families, processing patient registrations efficiently, obtaining accurate patient demographics and insurance information, and securing all necessary consents. You will serve as the initial point of contact for patients, explain account charges, verify insurance, and enter patient charges.

You will greet, instruct, direct, and schedule patients and visitors, transfer incoming calls to the appropriate clinic staff and physicians, and act as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, including organizing and coordinating requests to providers’ inboxes and completing medical records requests.

• Effective communication skills, medical terminology (training preferred)
• Basic Life Support;
  Medical Office Procedures (special training)
• Less than 1 year experience required

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
