Reports to: District Manager

Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt

Job Summary: Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise team members.
  • Member service oversight to ensure all team members provide a great customer service experience at all times.
  • High involvement in front desk tasks: greeting and welcoming members, gym tours, member service issues/questions.
  • Provide support for team members and club members.
  • Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
  • Coaching and counseling to achieve company standards.
  • Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym.
  • Ensure staff are aware and trained on current marketing promotions.
  • Finish manager portion of onboarding (Paycom) for all new hires.
  • Ensure the club is open and staffed during all business hours.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory.
  • Customer Service: exceed customers’ wants and needs.
  • Listening: actively listen and empathize to solve problems.
  • Problem Solving: recognize, define, analyze and plan solutions.
  • Diplomacy: demonstrate tact and skill in all interactions.
  • Communication: maintain timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and departments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honesty and good work ethic.
  • At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
