Aircraft Cabinet Technician

STS Technical Services is hiring an Aircraft Cabinet Technician in Moline, Illinois.

This role supports aircraft interior fabrication, repair and refurbishment work, with a focus on cabinetry, divans, ledges and other wood-surfaced interior components.

The ideal candidate brings strong craftsmanship, careful attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from shop drawings, blueprints and technical documentation.

The Aircraft Cabinet Technician will disassemble, fabricate, repair and reassemble aircraft cabinetry and interior components while maintaining precise fit, finish and workmanship standards.

This position requires hands‑on experience working with cabinetry and interior surfaces, including the removal, cutting, fitting and installation of laminate or veneer coverings.

• Disassemble aircraft cabinetry and interior components
• Reassemble cabinetry and interior components after repair or fabrication
• Fabricate aircraft cabinetry to required specifications
• Build divans, ledges and other wood-surfaced subassemblies
• Read and interpret shop drawings
• Read blueprints and technical documentation
• Remove existing laminate or veneer coverings
• Protect underlying substrates during removal work
• Measure laminate and veneer materials
• Cut, fit and trim coverings for precise installation
• Maintain a high-quality finished appearance
• Repair damaged cabinetry
