General Labor

Description

Monday–Thursday | 4-Day Work Week | 10-Hour Shifts = 3-Day Weekends

At George Evans Corporation, we don’t just fill positions—we build a team of people who take pride in hard work, quality, and doing things the right way.

If you like staying busy, working with your hands, and being part of a team that actually depends on you… this is your kind of job.

This is a hands‑on role in our Weld Department where no two days feel exactly the same:

• Grind, prep, and finish metal parts to meet quality standards
• Inspect materials, in-process work, and finished products
• Read prints and follow procedures to get the job done right
• Operate hoists, cranes, and shop equipment safely
• Use measuring tools to make sure everything is within spec
• Help identify and prevent quality issues before they become problems
• Work side‑by‑side with a team focused on productivity and efficiency

(You’re not just “general labor”—you’re a key part of making sure our products leave here right the first time.)

Do it right—even when no one is watching.

Your team counts on you. You show up, ready to go.

We win together. Respect and teamwork matter every day.

Best Interest of the Company

We think bigger—every part, every process, every improvement counts.

Nothing is more important than going home the same way you came in.
We take safety seriously—and expect you to do the same.
