The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $15.50 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $15.50 USD - $23.25 USD per hour.

At Target, you can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM). Schedules vary based on shift availability and store needs. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can pick up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable attendance and active engagement (picking up shifts at least once every 4 weeks, minimum four hours) are required.

If you do not respond to contact attempts or do not work at least one shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. You will be required to attend a Welcome orientation and participate in short-term training before using the myTime app to pick shifts.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs, using knowledge of tools, products, and services available in the store.
• Be knowledgeable about Total Store offerings, including fulfillment services, and direct guests to enroll, activate and use them.
• Announce current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Promote Target Loyalty benefits and assist with sign-up as needed; explain Wallet and Target App features.
• Handle returns with appropriate prompts and escalate to leadership as needed, following policies and procedures.
• Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Support guest services such as order pick up and drive-up while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including adult beverage laws where applicable.
• Assist with cash office processes as needed and manage cash systems.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Enjoy interacting with guests and colleagues; able to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment with a focus on teamwork and problem solving.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Effective communication skills; comfortable using handheld scanners and technology devices.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and support cash office operations as needed.
• Willingness to learn about products and services and educate guests accordingly.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
