Job DescriptionAllied Universal is hiring a Physical Security Project Manager. The Physical Security Project Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and integration of physical security systems across enterprise environments. The Physical Security Project Manager role ensures that all security installations including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection are executed in alignment with corporate security standards, IT infrastructure, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project management, physical security technologies, and IT systems integration, with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-site deployments. This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant physical security solutions that protect people, assets, and operations.
Salary: $82,992.00 / year
This is a Monday - Friday in-office position located in Moline, IL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with corporate security objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to design scalable, standards-compliant physical security systems that align with corporate security requirements
- Ensure all security installations and designs adhere to corporate physical security standards, industry best practices and applicable regulations
- Support client team as a point of contact for security integrators, contractors, and technology vendors
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including design drawings, change orders, test plans, and close-out reports
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and milestones
- Stay current with emerging physical security technologies and evaluate their applicability to enhance corporate security posture
- Recommend upgrades or new solutions to improve system performance and operational efficiency
- Develop and deliver training programs for local facility teams, security stakeholders, and leadership
- Maintain detailed documentation on procedures, equipment, inventory, and system configurations
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of physical security projects, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in physical security systems design, installation, and integration, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems
- Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience, preferably managing multi-site or enterprise-level security or technology projects
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in managing Onguard/Lenel systems, IP camera systems, and DVRs in a corporate environment
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Experience working with security integrators, contractors, and vendors in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Hands-on experience with security technologies and platforms (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Milestone, AMAG)
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and networking as it relates to physical security systems (e.g., IP cameras, PoE switches, VLANs)
- Experience interpreting and applying corporate security standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Lenel Onguard (v7.2 to v8.2) access control systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for access control and video surveillance systems
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present to and instruct others
