** General Overview**:  The Plant Utility position is responsible for day-to-day duties needed to complete work in a safe and timely fashion and maintain a clean work site. This position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the team.
** Responsibilities**:
* Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
* Be cognizant of and adhere to safety requirements
* Participate in all safety meetings
* Shoveling, sweeping, and monitoring
* Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment
* Must understand or have familiarity with all power and small tools
* Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment
* Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping
* Ensure safety fences, markings, berms are all in place
* Notify supervisor and/or maintenance of any required work to be done
* Performs other related duties as required
** Other Requirements**:
* High School Diploma or GED required

* Able to read, speak and write English
* Able to work under stressful conditions at times
* Work performed in a plant environment
* Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside
* Regularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. or more
* Frequently required to walk on unleveled ground
* Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication
* Dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities
* Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things
* Able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats when needed

* Must work independently and as a member of a team
