Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Carolina Foundations Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to support our growing pipeline of residential construction projects. This full‑time, onsite role is ideal for someone with field experience who understands the nuts and bolts of concrete, masonry, and coatings and can turn blueprints into accurate, actionable take‑offs. You’ll work directly with project managers and leadership to ensure our bids are competitive, profitable, and aligned with production goals.

• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs from architectural and civil construction plans.
• Prepare cost estimates for residential foundations, flatwork, and coatings projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and schedules for scope clarity.
• Collaborate with project managers to prepare and submit bid proposals.
• Track and analyze actual job costs to improve estimating accuracy.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, material pricing, and historical cost data.
• Participate in job walks or pre‑bid meetings as required.
• Ensure that all estimates align with company goals for quality, efficiency, and profitability.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating or relevant field experience.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction plan interpretation.
• Hands‑on experience with take‑offs and material quantity calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of construction practices, particularly concrete and foundation systems, preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel or estimating software familiarity.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
