LBE, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a motivated full‑time Structural Engineer to join our Moncks Corner, SC office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing a variety of structural systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and meeting client expectations.
Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of structural design experience and at least a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering. General knowledge of building materials and construction processes is required. Military facility design experience is a plus.
Our projects include both new construction and renovation efforts across the federal, commercial, and industrial sectors—domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities Include:- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, retaining walls, and other structures using applicable codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, etc.)
- Complete structural design and documentation from the conceptual phase through construction drawings
- Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify construction compliance (occasional travel
