A Senior Cost Engineer provides cost management services, including budgeting, bid management, cost forecasting and reporting, budget management and control, change management, contract administration, close‑out administration, procurement management, earned value management, and value engineering. The Senior Cost Engineer supports critical and complex cost management initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and maintain Monthly Forecasting, Invoicing, and Cost Reporting.
• Have experience with Project Controls concepts such as project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closeout.
• Have specific experience with Cost Engineering concepts such as project estimating, forecasting, cost controls, and variance reporting.
• Develop and maintain budgets.
• Provide various project information reports.
• Have a complete understanding of the accrual processes, invoice review, and validation.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• ERP financial experience preferred.
• Self‑starting, excellent communication skills, proven decision‑making skills, and ability to function in a large corporate environment.

• 10+ years of project cost control experience, including cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Experience with enterprise cost management systems.
• Transmission & Distribution experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
• Experience working on utility capital projects.
• Project Cost Control: 7+ years.
• Forecasting & Budgeting: 5+ years.
• Project Budget Reporting: 5+ years.
• Accruals & Invoice Management: 7+ years.

The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, prior relevant work experience and work location.
