Mechanical Engineer
LBE, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years of experience working for an engineering firm. The candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher) and possess a strong understanding of applied HVAC and plumbing engineering. Projects include new construction and renovation across federal, commercial, and industrial sectors in the United States and abroad.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion
- Prepare mechanical detailing for construction drawings
- Apply strong knowledge of commonly used mechanical engineering and design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the mechanical engineering industry
- Establish and implement standards, processes, procedures, and workflows
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced team members
- Conduct construction administration activities – responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and other related tasks
- Complete site visits to assess conditions
